A brief history and overview
The Hall’s Rainsaver started out life in the back garden of the Hall family home in Lymm, Cheshire, as an idea by keen ex-market gardener Barry Hall, who envisaged the simplicity and benefits of filling multiple water containers for gardening use or allotments by attaching a repositionable length of guttering to a shed.
Over a period of several months, Barry and his son Keith deliberated over the potential of a solution and thinking about idea protection, Keith designed the patented bracket which is the cornerstone of the Hall’s Rainsaver solution.
The company was incorporated in September 2011, with Keith Hall managing the business and Keith and Barry investing as shareholders. Keith has experience running other businesses in the past and sees vast potential in the Hall’s Rainsaver system to revolutionise and lead the garden rainwater harvesting marketplace with the world’s easiest to fit and repositionable shed gutter system.
A true family business with Fran Hall also helping out with packaging and regular sanity checks!
Enabling rain collecting within reach of everyone with a garden shed (there are apparently over 30 million sheds in the UK alone – source shedworking.co.uk) makes perfect sense in these times of increasing frequency drought orders and hosepipe bans. And everything is in one easy fit package.
The Hall’s Rainsaver company with their novel products is in prime position to help remove some of the frustrations that hinder water conservation (or even just protecting that shed investment!) in the home and garden.
