All the orders over the last 2 weeks shutdown period will be processed today Tuesday 30th September, tracking emails will be sent accordingly except for smaller items going via Royal Mail.

Summer two week shutdown
Please note that in order to take a break we will be closed for business and unable to process orders for two weeks from 15th to 29th September inclusive.
The last day of despatch is for orders received by 1pm on 10th September (in order to cover delivery issues for remainder of the week).
Orders can still be placed but those received between then and 29th September will be dealt with on our return on 30th September 2014.
A limited telephone service will be available during the period.
We hope this doesn’t cause too much inconvenience and thank you for your custom.

Watering the chickens
We love to hear how our invention is put to good use, so when we found out that rainwater was being saved to water chickens we just had to discover more!
A customer in Pontefract has used one of their Rainsaver Kits (with flexible downpipe add-on) in order to collect water for their livestock. Of particular benefit, it no longer means running a long hosepipe all over the garden from the farmhouse to supply water for the chickens!
Another, longer Rainsaver was extended and used to collect water from a greenhouse.

Leaf guard addition now available
We’ve just added a leaf guard add-on to the online shop – an inexpensive way to help leaves from floating down the pipe into a water container.
Continuing in our easy-fit methodology, the small section of mesh can simply be rolled up and fits snugly into the stop-end outlet, trapping certain unwanted material before it can enter the downpipe.

For Kits, last time to order for delivery before Christmas is 1pm on 23rd December.
Orders received after 1pm on 23rd December will be delivered by Monday 30th December.
Orders received by 1pm on 31st December will be delivered by Friday 3rd January 2014.
NB Smaller orders, sent out via Royal Mail first class will likely take longer during the Christmas period.
New flexible pipe for larger downpipes
By popular demand we have now sourced some larger (70mm inside diameter) flexible pipe which is suitable to go over 68mm round household downpipe. A suitable method of fixing (large jubilee clip etc) will be required.
